Karl Lagerfeld To Speak At International Herald Tribune “Heritage Luxury” Conference

The International Herald Tribune (IHT) announced today that Karl Lagerfeld will join the illustrious speaker lineup at its annual luxury conference, this year entitled “Heritage Luxury,” taking place at the InterContinental London Park Lane, November 9 to 10, 2010.

One of the most admired and respected figures in the fashion world, Mr. Lagerfeld is head designer and creative director for Chanel and designs for both Fendi and his own line, Karl Lagerfeld. With a zest for new creative ideas and enthusiasm for diverse projects, including photography, book publishing and film directing, Mr. Lagerfeld is well placed to address the conference theme of how global luxury brands are maintaining and cultivating their heritage values while embracing new ways of interacting with their customers.

Suzy Menkes, the IHT’s internationally-renowned fashion editor and conference chair, said, “I am delighted and honored that Karl will be speaking at Heritage Luxury. Celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, the IHT’s annual luxury conference is highly regarded by creative and business leaders in the global fashion and luxury goods industry.
