written by Andrew Rixon on Friday 18th of December 2009

Aston Martin have today released details on two special editions. The DBS and V12 Vantage 'Carbon Black' add a little extra, albeit understated, flair to the standard models. The cars will feature bespoke Carbon Black metallic paint, which contains a metallic twist to create a deep rich patina.

Each car will undergo 50 man-hours of hand painting. The V12 Vantage will have a carbon fibre side strake and will have gloss black 10 spoke diamond turned alloy wheels.

Inside the new owners will enjoy Obsidian Black leather with a contrasting silver stitch. All hand stitched by craftspeople in Gaydon, England.

Lightweight carbon and kevlar seats are standard. The V12 will gain the 700w Premium Aston Martin Audio pack as standard, whilst the DBS Carbon Black will have the Bang and Olufsen Beosound system.

Aston will also provide a free day at the excellent Performance Driving Course for UK and European customers.

Deliveries start in March.
