Luxury lifestyles are not confined to exquisite automobiles at Syon Park this summer.

The Luxury Super Car Event & Concours d’Elégance revs its V8s and wheel-spins into the stately, gravel drives of Syon Park. Debutantes to the manicured lawn this year include the new Lamborghini Aventador, promising a ‘time-travelling’ acceleration of 0-62 mph in a shade under three seconds, and the 268mph Bugatti Veyron Super Sport, although Lusso’s own Andy Green would scoff, being the current land speed record holder at 760.343 mph in ThrustSSC.

Too fast, too furious for your liking? The event specializes in showcasing the classic and priceless from yesteryear. Amongst the 150 iconic marques on display will be the likes of Rolls-Royce, Ferrari and Alfa Romeos, including a super-rare 1925 Silver Ghost and the Bond-like 1961 Ferrari 250 GT SWB Berlinetta. Alternatively, why not buy your own piece of motoring history? RM Auctions will be offering a range of classic British Marques for sale on the day. If a piston head’s wet dream doesn’t suit, fear not, as a host of luxury goods will be on display. Exhibitors include the super lux jewellers Boodles, the mobile concierge specialists Vertu, and Audemars Piguet’s ‘timeless’ time pieces, all washed down with endless flutes of the bubbly stuff from Champagne House Pommery.
