Audi RS4
This is not a car for the faint hearted – but it is one for someone who doesn’t want to get noticed. Aside from some huge, and incredibly sexy, wheels, and the bulging arches that house them, this car almost fades into the background. Even with the semi-fluorescent shade of “Sprint Blue” that our car came in, it still looks like one of the countless slightly pimped up Audi A4s that pound the motorway miles every day up and down the country.
Tomorrow’s devices today?
You wouldn’t fit a supercar with budget tyres, and the same principal should apply for your home computer or media centre pc.
Grand Resort Lagonissi
When making inquiries and arrangements for the trip to Lagonissi, just outside of Athens, I discovered that most high class destinations were completely booked for many months before the season even started. I guess it was not too much of a suprise - with that sort of sand & sea, Greece in the summer is “the place to be”.
Cadogan Hotel
As addresses go, they don’t get much more prestigious than the Cadogan’s. Situated on Sloane Street, London SW1 and equidistant between Sloane Square and Knightsbridge, this hotel could not be better placed if you’re in town for some high-end retail therapy.
Bailisscourt Hotel and Spa
Another year’s Festival of Speed creeps up on me, I had put the date in my calendar but only made a mental note to start planning the trip. The year before I was calling around frantically trying to find a hotel close to Goodwood house but on announcing the dates to the hotel I was met with a hearty chuckle, “I’m sorry, we’re fully booked”.
Plaza Athenee. Paris.
The Plaza Athénée in Paris is the hotel of my dreams. Not because of the restaurant with its three Michelin stars and its chef, Alain Ducasse, one of the Galacticos of world gastronomy. Not because of the bar run by Thierry Hernandez who is to cocktails what Pele is to football. Not because of its Eiffel Suite which, for a mere Ł4000 per night, will provide you with a mind-bending view of the Eiffel Tower on the opposite bank of the Seine.
Ageless 15
Did you know that the life cycle of your skin cells is guided by a molecular communicating process called cell signalling? Well I didn’t!With this in mind, pioneering cosmaceuticals company Cellex-C skin care are launching a new product: Ageless 15. It contains Phyto-Glycan Complex a breakthrough formulation containing constituents specifically designed to target signalling receptor sites in the skin.
Cineversum Blackwing Two
There’s nothing like watching Star Wars, appreciating the surround sound - only to turn around and see a Tie Fighter coming straight at you... oh no, that’s just the Blackwing.
BENQ W10000
As a fan of BenQ products I was excited to see this beasty projector arrive in the office. After ripping it from the surprisingly compact box I popped it on to the table, immediately impressed with the sheer size of the lens.
NAC Sound
This has to be the craziest looking speaker we have come across so far. In fact hen it first arrived we thought that the delivery had come to the wrong address. In actual fact however, these Italian crafted speakers pump out a fabulous and rich sound, as well as creating a serious talking point.
MBT Shoes
I have on several occasions been told that I have the happy advantage of looking sporty without actually happening to be (at all) sporty. This having been said, my new MBT trainers can only have seriously enhanced this effect whilst simultaneously, and actually rather effortlessly, increasing my exercise, fitness and general well being.
GHD IV Stylers
When talking to anyone at GHD, there is one thing you must bear in mind - if you call their Styler a “Straightener” then they will be most displeased! It has been a few years since I owned a pair of GHD stylers, so I was keen to see if there had been any change in that time. The first thing I noticed was how nice they are to hold.
