Sanctuary Villas and Apartments adds two new luxury villas to its portfolio
Sanctuary Villas and Apartments has added two new properties on the Côte d’Azur to its portfolio of European rental villas. The new villas differ in style, with one offering unashamed opulence and the other cutting-edge, minimalist design, but both still fit with Sanctuary’s core product philosophy by combining individuality, luxury and comfortable living.
Solaia, St Jean Cap Ferrat
The eye-popping ostentation of Solaia makes it the ultimate villa choice for guests looking for unrivalled extravagance. Everything about the villa oozes with exclusivity, from its prime position with direct beach access on the sought-after St Jean Cap Ferrat peninsula to its unique furnishings, which include a fireplace from the estate of Edward VII. Marble flooring runs throughout and is accentuated by other marble features such as the dining table, a marble terrace and balcony, and marble bathroom fixtures.
The main house contains two master bedroom suites along with two further double bedrooms, all with king-sized beds; a salon running the width of the house; a Bulthaup kitchen fully equipped for the most exuberant lunches and dinner parties; a library; and even a media room, which comprises a home cinema and billiard table and which has fabric walls for optimum sound quality.
Solaia is one of the few properties in St Jean with its own tennis court. It also boasts direct beach access, a mirror swimming pool and an original boules court, giving guests a slice of the Provençal lifestyle. The well-kept gardens are dotted with a myriad of exotic plants and trees including palm trees, an avocado tree and a 1,000-year-old olive tree.
With capacity for eight guests in the main house, Solaia can also accommodate larger groups with further accommodation available in a garden cottage, separate from the main house. The garden cottage sleeps eight further guests and is self-contained with its own living room, kitchen and bathrooms. And if this still isn’t enough space, a staff apartment can also be incorporated into the package.
For a truly opulent villa holiday, Solaia can be rented from €79,995 per week (approx: £54,597) on a Tailor Made (villa-only) basis, or €82,495 per week (approx: £56,298) on a Sanctuary Hosted basis.
Le Mirage, Eze Bord de Mer
With its clean lines, cool colours and contemporary chic, Le Mirage is a property straight out of a design magazine. The architecturally-designed villa is ultra-modern in style with all the amenities for a comfortable and relaxing getaway.
Le Mirage offers spectacular panoramic sea views from its location two minutes from the beach, shops and restaurants of Eze Bord de Mer, between Nice and Monaco on the French Riviera. The ground floor terrace is the focus for outdoor living, with an al fresco dining area adjacent to the 12m infinity swimming pool. At lower ground level, a fully enclosed lawned garden leads to easy beach access.
Indoors, the villa has a large open-plan living space including kitchen, dining and lounge areas; it also boasts its own art gallery. The five double bedrooms are each furnished with king-sized beds and come with en suite facilities.
As would be expected, this modern villa is equipped with a range of contemporary features including electronic entrance gates leading to enclosed parking for two cars; a swimming pool alarm; air conditioning; Wi-Fi internet access; satellite television; and CD and DVD players.
Le Mirage can be rented from €19,995 per week (approx: £13,645) on a Tailor Made (villa-only) basis, or €22,495 per week (approx: £15,351) on a Sanctuary Hosted basis.
