The light, titanium, luxury bluetooth headset from Jabra
Lets be honest, no-one fancies losing their driving license and the recent crackdown on driving with mobile phones has made alternatives such as bluetooth headsets a much better option. Most of these are ugly plastic devices, so its refreshing to see Jabra taking the headsets up market.
The JX20 Pura is their titanium headset and is barely noticeable once worn. Being designed by Jacob Jensen, of Bang and Olufsen fame, the headset is rather stylish.
When you first open the box, its noticeable that Jabra have put a lot of thought into everything that is included. There is a mains lead for charging, but I chose to use the desktop cradle which is a work of art in itself.
I didn't use any of the optional ear clips and had no problems with the headset staying in place. If you're doing something more energetic than driving then I'd recommend using these extras.
The setup was straightforward. Making sure my Blackberry's bluetooth was turned on, I just turned the headset on and they connected with just the addition of a short code. The instructions explain everything. Once linked, whenever you turn the headset on or off, the phone responds.
Sound quality is excellent and the device only has the essential controls. A button for recieve/end call and volume controls. Nothing else is needed. This keeps the headset small and discreet.
