Burger King launches the world's most expensive burger
Is any burger – no – can any burger, be worth £95? The short answer is no. But considering that the money goes to charity (Help a London Child), if you’re going to give away the best part of £100, you might as well get some bragging rights for it.
“THE Burger” is only available at Burger King on London's Gloucester Road on selected dates, and soon maybe it will be officially the most expensive burger in the world. It is made with Wagyu Beef as the star ingredient, layered with slivers of white truffle, slices of Spanish Pata Negra ham, Cristal Champagne Onion straws, lambs lettuce, 25 year old balsamic vinegar, Pink Himalayan rock salt and a very tasty wine and shallot infused mayonnaise. It’s all wrapped in an Iranian saffron and truffle bun – which smelt bizarrely of spent fireworks, but tasted good nonetheless. The flavour of truffle is nicely balanced so that it isn’t too strong at first, and the whole thing is perfectly seasoned. But I like to think of myself as a meat connoisseur (snob would probably be more accurate), so there was one huge, glaring problem with the whole thing. No decent beef should ever, ever, ever be served well done, but this being Burger King, this is how it has to be done. At the end of the day it is a shame, because the world’s most expensive burger has one weak point – the burger.
Louis Vuitton buys Yacht Manufacturer
The Louis Vuitton Group, LVMH, has purchased Dutch yacht manufacturer Royal van Lent. The yacht company make ultra high end yachts, with an average selling price of 30 million euros. The sellers are Dutch investment firm Egeria and the acquisition price is worth approximiately 11 times net profit.

Did Russian billionaire buy 496 million euro property?
Recently, it was reported that Villa Leopolda was sold to a Russian billionaire for just under 500 million euros. It soon revealed that Russian billionaire Mikhail Prokhorov was behind the sale. As is the habit with Russian oligarchs, Prokhorov made his billions in precious metals. In 2007 he launched a $17 billion private investment fund, so he was definitely wealthy enough to purchase the property.
