The Lamborghini Reventón takes Lamborghini's usual extragence to a new level, with its fighter jet inspired carbon fibre body and 1 million euro price tag. But that isn't enough for the Italian car builder, and it chose Turin as the location for a fantastic publicity stunt.
The automobile, which has a 641 horsepower V12, was airlifted into Turin by a military helicopter by the Italian marines. As the photos show, it was a spectacle.
Lamborghini had no real reason to helicopter the car onto the roof, but then supercars have never really been logical.
The name Reventón was chosen according to the Lamborghini tradition of naming their cars with a fighting bull theme. the Reventon was a fighting bull, owned by the Don Rodriguez family. Reventon takes its place in the list of the most famous fighting bulls ever.
Sadly for any readers interested, all 20 Reventóns have been sold. However, the LP640 on which the Reventón is based is still for sale.
