This summer something unprecedented and unexpected makes its debut in the City of London. Dunhill introduces a unique golfing event that transports the talent and the tension of the fairway to the heart of the capital and raises the stakes with a putting course and a prize fund the likes of which the City has never seen.
Located in Broadgate Arena, Dunhill have designed a unique urban putting course that will put amateur skill and beginners luck to the test. Over the course of five days London will brim with anticipation and excitement as competitors' battle it out to secure a place in the final and a chance to win one million dollars. The top two scores from each day will qualify to compete in the grand final on Friday 28th July, the winner of which will then step up to accept the ultimate challenge - the putt, that, if sunk, will leave you and the charity of your choice with a very healthy bank balance.
In a benevolent and sporting spirit, the voluntary entry fee of £5 will be donated to Laureus Sports for Good Foundation, whilst the winner of the Million Dollars will be asked to donate $500’000 of their winnings to a charity of their choice; a very generous bonus, even for the City.
Competitors can chart their colleagues progress and their own personal ranking on the live scoreboard and video feed on www.milliondollarputt.com, so you can return to the green on your coffee break should your score be trumped by lunch time.
A game of skill, nerves and providence, the Alfred Dunhill Million Dollar Putt is one of the most anticipated events of the summer, and the most important putt of the year. Register on line now at www.milliondollarputt.com to ensure your place.

2. Glad to hear it to be honest I don&prime t like it when a % of things go to charity because there&prime s obvisouly someone sat in the background who&prime s making a profit of marketing the event or whatever as a charity do. We deal with and accept price hikes when it&prime s for charity. I&prime m ranting now but congrats to Dunhill for making this move.
