Bose has launched its SoundDock digital music system in a hi-gloss black finish. The award-winning speaker system from Bose lets iPod owners access, control and listen to their stored music with the ease of dock and play. No headphones, cables or adaptors required. The SoundDock system integrates with all iPods that have a dock connector.
"With the additional colour, we are able to offer a compact speaker system that not only perfectly matches today’s popular black iPods, but also blends in with any décor," says Ludger Havelt, European marketing manager at Bose.
The SoundDock system includes a proprietary acoustic design that delivers clear, full sound across the entire musical spectrum. Using an integrated system approach, amplifiers, equalizers and speakers are perfectly matched; there is no need for the user to make complex adjustments to ensure superb acoustic performance. Patented integral signal processing automatically adjusts tonal balance, so music sounds natural at any volume.

For flexibility and convenience, the infrared remote which is included with every SoundDock system can control the iPod from across the room. The iPod and SoundDock system can also be operated without the remote. When an iPod is docked, all of its controls are accessible, with one-button volume controls available on the SoundDock system’s enclosure.
The system charges the iPod when docked, even whilst it is use. The SoundDock digital music system measures just 16.89cm H x 30.26cm W x 16.47cm D. It features quick installation and intuitive operation. The user simply plugs the power cord into a wall outlet, inserts their iPod into the docking cradle, and plays the iPod as normal.
